As our journey through Terminus draws to a close, we will feature a Bon Voyage Ball. In grand style, champagne at the ready and with colorful streamers, we’ll toast the story of Harry Potter, the journeys we’ve all taken, and the new friends we’ve made. The Grand Ballroom of the Hilton Chicago, a magnificent, historic venue that has hosted queens and presidents, movie stars and billionaires, will welcome us for an evening of dancing and celebration.

In addition, the Bon Voyage Ball will be a very special occasion for two Harry Potter fans: Hope Driggers and Jeremy Thompson. Hope and Jeremy, who got engaged on the dance floor at Phoenix Rising’s Masquerade Ball, will marry at Terminus – and they invite attendees to witness their marriage in the Waldorf Room prior to the Bon Voyage Ball. Space is limited at the ceremony, but Hope and Jeremy will be joining us at the Bon Voyage Ball so everyone may wish them much joy.

We invite you to dress for the occasion, whether that dress is formal, costume or 1920s period, in honor of the great tradition of bon voyage send-offs when starting out on new travels. None of the above is required, however, and if you’d prefer to dance the night away in your jeans and flip-flops, you are certainly welcome to do so.

As part of our gala evening, we will offer you the opportunity to take home a unique memory of Terminus. We will include an auction of magical and Muggle, marvelous and mundane items, and we hope that you will take a look. Our auction will feature both a silent component and periodic live items. Every attendee for Terminus is welcome at our Bon Voyage Ball as part of their registration. Please join us as we celebrate Harry and each other – and say au revoir as we get ready to return to our individual paths.
