Terminus presents an unusual opportunity for businesses, organizations and individuals alike to both reach an exciting demographic and to support our educational mission. More than 1,000 Harry Potter enthusiasts will attend, and our weekend provides them with a chance to collaborate and learn from each other while experiencing the excitement and magic of Chicago. Our attendees are voracious readers, talented writers and artists, academics in every imaginable field and professionals from around the world.
Narrate Conferences, Inc., the non-profit company presenting Terminus, is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization under the Internal Revenue Code. Therefore, donations, including sponsorships, are eligible for tax deduction.

Events and Programming
Nearly all of the events and programming topics featured at Terminus are available for sponsorship. Whether you’re looking for something flashy, such as our Bon Voyage Ball, or something more intimate, such as a craft workshop, we have a wide variety of options available. Event sponsorships start at $1,000 and programming sponsorships start at $50; all our prices are based on the number of attendees the event can accommodate – that is, how many people you are able to reach with your sponsorship. Our most high-profile sponsorships are certainly our event sponsorships, but this category includes a wide range of possibilities. Indeed, those looking to support a favorite topic, a friend who will be presenting or even a fandom craft can show appreciation through our less expensive programming sponsorship opportunities.

Tournament Teams
Perhaps the most unique sponsorship is our team sponsorships. For $500, you may enter your Quidditch team in the Trade Winds Tournament. Sponsors may choose a team name and mascot, and Terminus will create custom artwork for your team, as well as a team history that incorporates the history of your business or organization. The mascots and histories will be displayed on our website, and we will use your sponsorship money to fund the Trade Winds Tournament, which is by far our most visible event.
Sponsors are also welcome to purchase team sponsorships for Thoth’s Tournament of Knowledge for $150; these sponsorships come with the ability to specify team colors and a mascot, but do not incorporate a magical history. Additionally, Thoth’s Tournament of Knowledge, unlike Quidditch, will be played inside and closed to members of the public, though as its opening and closing rounds will be played during our Arrival Dinner and Departure Breakfast, this opportunity is quite visible as well.

Fandom Sponsors Fandom...and More
One of the most anticipated events of Terminus is Artists and Authors Night, our showcase of the fan community. This program features fandom and all its amazing talent through fanfiction, podcasts, fanart, crafts and other fan works. This night of Terminus is dedicated exclusively to the fan community, and in the past, has been sponsored entirely by wonderful organizations. To show support for the incredible diversity, creativity, and charity of the fan community, we decided to do something entirely different for Artists and Authors Night at Terminus. We'd like it to be sponsored not by a corporation, individual, or single group, but by the fans for the fans!
We therefore invited Harry Potter fans to sponsor Artists and Authors Night and put fandom's collective name on this event, where we'll feature the creative programming that represents the vast variety that the Harry Potter fan community has to offer. We invite you, as members of this community, to show your support and appreciation of the groups, lists, and communities that have been part of your experience as a fan, and to recognize the authors, artists, podcasts, filmmakers, costumers and more that create new and transformative Harry Potter-inspired work for everyone to enjoy.
Our Fandom Sponsors Fandom program raised $2,000 for Artists and Authors Night by May 1, 2008. We thank all contributors, whether it’s of a dollar or a thousand dollars, according to the following levels based on their support, and you may see the current list here:

$200: Sixth Years
$250: Seventh Years
Additionally, Terminus will provide those groups, whether it's a ship, community, list, site, or other organization, that achieved Seventh Year status with a table during Artists and Authors Night and include that group in our interactive Fandom Trail game for all attendees. We invite our attendees to stop by their tables during Artists and Authors Night.
