During the day, Terminus will focus on our academic programming: papers, panels, roundtable discussions and hands-on workshops. Our attendees proposed their literary analyses, character discussions, how-to workshops and many, many more examinations, theories, studies and observations. Our schedule will include more than 150 hours of interactive, educational programming presented by academics, professionals, writers, artists, and fans.
Terminus will also feature two keynote presentations: Cheryl Klein will speak on her experience editing the American versions of the Harry Potter books and what we can learn from J. K. Rowling’s writing, and fantasy author Tamora Pierce will speak on how Harry Potter changed the face of fantasy literature for readers, for writers and for publishers. Each keynote presentation includes the speaker’s talk as well as a full meal.
